SELF
CATERING BOOKING
CONDITIONS 1.
To book please send your completed booking form to Jane and Andrew
at Glenhurst (address above) together with a deposit for £50. The
remainder must be paid in full six weeks before the start of your
holiday. For bookings made 6 or less weeks before arrival,
the total amount is payable on booking. Please makes cheques
payable to "V. J. Rose".
2. We recommend that you take out holiday insurance in case
of cancellation should the need arise. Full refunds will
only be given if we receive written notice of cancellation more
than six weeks before arrival date. After this we can offer
a refund, less administration costs, only if we can re-let
the property.
3. In the unlikely event that the property is unavailable
due to circumstances beyond our control e.g. fire, damage or
theft, we will offer a full refund of all monies paid but you will
have no claim against us.
4. The occupier undertakes to keep the property and all
furniture, fittings, decorations and effects in or on the property
in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement
of the letting. We do not require a deposit against breakages, but
trust that, if accidents occur you will inform us immediately so
that a replacement can be arranged in good time.
5. Dahlia Cottage and White Cottage are strictly for private holiday
occupation only and by virtue of section 9 part 1 of the Housing
Act 1988 this is not an assured tenancy and possession may be
recovered under Ground 3 in Schedule 2 of the Housing Act
1988. Also, you shall not do, or allow to be done anything
which may be a nuisance to the owner, or to the neighbours.
6. No persons other than those mentioned on the booking
form shall sleep in or otherwise occupy
Dahlia Cottage or White Cottage except by prior arrangement with the owner.
7. The occupier shall permit the owner, or their agent, to
enter the accommodation subject to notice at any reasonable time
for gardening or repairs that need to be done. For lets longer
than a week entry is required for housekeeping visits.
8. The owner will not accept liability for loss or damage
to any baggage, car or its contents.
9. The hirer is responsible for leaving the cottage in good
order and in a clean condition.
